My first post on here! I'm finally getting my FoxESS solar (KH7 inverter) and batteries (2 x EP11H) installed next week, and will be integrating to my HA via modbus. Is there any general view on here about the relative pros and cons of which modbus HA integration to use? I've seen TonyM1958 and Nathanmarlor and wondered if both are equally good? Thanks.

Nathanmarlor - is the most popular as it has a setup wizard built into HA.
Tony's is the most comprehensive and requires managing the config files, but offers fine control over the configuration.
I use Nathan's for every day and Tony's for testing specific changes to the fox modbus addresses.

My scaffolding went up yesterday, exactly the same the kit as yours is in the porch, and the roofers and sparky turn up tomorrow morning. How exciting
I read a problem with the KH series is they don't support "Read/write charge periods" but there are workarounds. I guess we need to find out what they are.
Another problem we have is our next door neighbour got in two weeks ago with a G99 for 7.4kW and that seems to have take up the whole budget for the street! DNO not being helpful at all . Funnily our MP found out about it, and not from me and asked me to contact him. Apparently I am not the first to be knocked by the DNO for a G99 round here, so he is going to find out what is going on.
I'll post what i find out.
My scaffolding is also up for an installation starting on Monday 9th. I did read in the Nathan Marlor's integration features that KH "Read/Write charge periods" is not supported. However I wasn't aware of any potential work-around for that. Have you got a link to more information on that?
