As I understand it, reading data from the inverter (H1 in my case) is a spot reading not "cumulative since the last reading"... Hmm, now I actually write it down, I suppose it would have to be, but I'll ask the question anyway. Is that right? I'm specifically thinking of power here, generated and exported.
Is there a way to get cumulative data? If it's "turn up the frequency of collecting readings" (I use Home Assistant and the ModBus extension), any suggestions how far that needs to go to a) get a good approximation and b) not save vast amounts of data.
This has been prompted (this time) because Octopus are telling me that in the month to 19 of June we only exported just over half of what we did in the previous month, which seems a bit unlikely given the weather we've had. Anyone else seen this?
