Hi there
is there any device which can be attached to T15-G3 and will provide backup during grid outage ?
my local installer says its FOX device and it can provide 30% of total PV power.
Please guide ?
and moreover, is there any model of ongrid inverter available with built in capability to provide 30% power in case of grid outage ?

You would need an AC unit which is basically a hybrid inverter without the PV inputs.
It’s interesting that he said 30%, as there are 2 AC battery storage units an AC1 and an AC3, the AC3 being 3 phase.
But as you have a 15kW 3 phase solar inverter I imagine what he is proposing is that you install an AC1 5kW unit with battery storage on one of your phases and use the EPS (protected output) to power a set of ‘essential’ loads that are connected to this inverter. The downside of this approach is that it will only charge with excess solar from the phase it is attached to.
Alternatively they may be considering an AC3-15 which will be connected to all 3 phases and will be able to charge the batteries from excess solar on any of the phases.
When using the EPS output you have to be mindful of overloads and so the load must never exceed the rated output of the battery storage unit.
It’s complicated by the earth requirements as in the event of grid loss you may lose the external earth and usually earthing precautions have to be taken that meet your local requirements (typically a local earth rod is installed), but i’d recommend you talk through the options witrh them in more detail.

Apologize for not being able to mention earlier. He says the device will work without battery. Thank you for sharing solution with battery, please guide if any battery-less solution available ?
