ie. Do I need to swap the pins in the CT header?
My CT reading shows as negative, at a time when I'm drawing from the Grid. Is this expected, or is it because it's been incorrectly installed and the wiring is mixed up?

It’s correct - the Grid CT sensor shows negative for import and positive for export - it is split into 2 further sensors feedin and gridconsumption both of which can only go from zero to a positive value.
