For awareness, I have raised a ticket with Fox ESS Support (ref. 74720) reporting this issue, and linking to this discussion thread
I had an app update a couple of days ago (Android) and it has been working since then. Only a few days away from 600 now.
Mines been back on for the last few days as well. Fingers crossed

So I got a response from the support ticket I raised. Here's what they said:
The “Forest” feature in our software is currently undergoing an upgrade and enhancement. It will be launched soon with new functionalities. Please stay tuned — we appreciate your patience and look forward to bringing you the improved experience.
Well, let's see how 'improved' that experience will be. I guess we'll find out soon enough, though why the current iteration had to go through some availability issues first is anyone's guess.

I think it credits 1/10th of 'Yield-today', truncated. i.e., not just generation, but DC to AC conversion from the battery too. Mine generally seems to turn up in the morning.Dave Foster wrote: ↑Thu Sep 11, 2025 8:44 am i’m not sure what thresholds it uses are (not even sure what timezone it uses as it seems a bit strange in it’s allocation) ...
Partly based on the fact that the only other system statistic it gives on the page is 'total yield'.
First tree purchased. It'll take a long time to build up my own spinney, never mind a forest...
