I logged into the web interface first which was up. That forced an app log in which then also worked.
What website did you login to to force this?
Foxesscloud.com
Might just have been coincidence! It’s the web version of the app. Similar functionality but generally more stable.

Not a coincidence! I tried the app at about 21:00, which was forlornly reporting that the last update was 8 hours ago. No real-time data anywhere but strangely I could display the complete activity profile from today, suggesting that data had been flowing successfully into the cloud but something was preventing it from being retrieved. I then logged into the web v2 page and found real-time updates! I don't allow dual login so this forced a login back on the app … which now also has real-time data flowing once more. It also seemed to have remembered the schedule updates that I had sent blind earlier today.
Whether it will still be working tomorrow is another matter. FoxESS is already having their reputation tarnished by dodgy software and the charge seems likely to stick unless they find a way to get a grip. It's not a way of working that I could get away with in my day job.

It has came back to me a while back also, main difference is the 5 second data refresh is not working.
Back to the 5 minute or so refresh speed for now.

Same here. I guess 5SR will be back when the fully fix the issue.
Edit: I now have 5SR back

While the app and website show no reporting the API is still working it seems, maybe try the Energy Stats app until fixed?

Still down for me, no activity since 13:23 in either the FoxCloud2.0 app, their website or the Energy Stats app. Hopefully I'll wake up in the morning to everything working and my batteries full to the brim with cheap rate electricity. I may have jinxed it though.

or the Energy Stats app.
Then something else might be wrong as I just re-checked I was able to get data and set a new schedule via the API and it's still working for me.

What I meant was that nothing was being reported in terms of data. I can seemingly check my Mode Schedule, but it's not seeing the active flow of energy still.

Thank you all for the input
Just checked on Fox2.0 website and all back up and running
Shame Fox cannot send out a notice letting customers know that there is an issue.
It would save all of our concerns that it is our systems that are at fault and wondering what to do about it.
Not sure if anyone from Fox head office reads this forum?
All the best

My battery is still down, same symptoms as mentioned here. Is it supposed to get back up automatically, or do I need to do something?
Thanks

This might be of help to some. Mine didn’t automatically come back online, I had to reconfigure the WLAN connection and share to the other devices a few times.

All working here this morning. At least it proves we can still update our schedules locally when the Fox servers are down. For bonus points the app could be updated so it tells you the current unit status using the local WiFi connection so you don't have to go and physically check on the front panel!

My system is still offline, having gone offline around 12:45 yesterday. But, weirdly, when I looked late last night, the Energy Analysis chart had updated and was showing Supply and Usage readings up to 17:34. So it seems that it must have come back online for a short time to allow some data to be transferred.
Has anyone else experienced this?

There is a modbus TCP option, but I can't figure out if my inverter doesn't support it, or Fox won't let it be enabled.

Is there a good How To somewhere for setting up modbus connections?

There's plenty of threads on this forum about it, but what's stopping me is it seems you need to DIY a connector and I suck at hardware stuff like that.

My system has two inverters (both H1-6.0-E-G2), each with three EP5 batteries attached, and also a WW data-logger each.
This morning...
(1) App and Foxesscloud both show only one inverter and battery array
(2) Both data-loggers are showing but one does not identify the inverter it is attached to
(3) The data looks correct for the one inverter/battery combo. (it has charged and discharged as expected)
(4) Both inverter panels state 'normal' and their percentage figures and discharge rates match as expected
(5) The data-logger without an identified inverter has a flashing red light at half second frequency (which the manual says means "The IP has been acquired, but the handshake with the server was not successful."
No amount of pressing rest or rebooting changes the flashing rate.

I believe if your inverter ends with '-WL' then you can use the modbus TCP option. It works for me
CheerZ..

Since there seems to be a bug in the app telling data loggers your WiFi details you may need to connect to the data logger another way.
Since the data logger also acts as a WiFi AP, you connect to it with the password mtmt2020, just ignore if your phone/laptop claims there is no internet access, it doesn't matter for this purpose.
Once connected just open a browser to
http://192.168.1.1 then log in with admin/12345678 and then you can give it new WiFi details.

I can skip that rabbit hole then.

Yes I had patchy data arriving in, stopped around 17:xx then jumped to 19:xx.
Once the service comes back, you are going to see this, until you get full data back (showing power flows)

Hi
Back up and working, have noticed though in the app that it refreshes much more now.
