Well done for rumbling them!

It will be helpful for anyone else thinking of the EPS box (I was thinking for the future)
Meanwhile I am sure those little UPS's will do you fine for the few moments you do have a power loss.

agreed and accepted but that has cost me another £200 which I should not have had to shell out for something that was technically and, I am sure legally mis-sold.....but I dont have the resources to pursue that and no doubt would not win against them

Yes it would leave a sour taste in my mouth also.

On a side note, in your other thread, did you sort the G100 State 3 fault?

Their box activated last night, and I have no idea what the red lights mean?

As there seems to be no resolution to this, my installer is not familiar with the kit mentioned and was not happy about purchasing said kit in case it also didnt work to my satisfaction I complained again adding that I could, reluctantly go down the route of mis-selling......and they immediately offered re-imbursement of the full cost of the UPS's I bought........hmmmmm
I must have been in a good mood as I accepted that offer to save all the hassle of small claims court proceedings and the like.....I also tested the changeover function again by turning off the grid and the house went off as before - but this time it was for less than a second before the gateway switched over.....which is better than the 3 sec delay previously experienced.
I guess that is a reasonable compromise
