Trying to problem solve.
My system frequently shows via the APP, no consumption, no PV and Battery at 100%, despite what I have scheduled, a minor voltage shows coming from the grid.
Howvever i know the consumption should be much higher, as appliances are running.

If a faulty CT Clamp is fitted, would this affect the system settings, or does the CT Clamp only display grid incoming g consumption, and does NOT affect other factors within the system?

I was looking at the settings of the Inverter earlier, but can't remember what the CT Meter setting was.
I will check to see in the morning if it is enabled, and advise.

Sometimes I see load and pv production in the APP. Other times I get zero or 1-4W's for each component.

I need to reboot system so battery kicks in to force discharge , else it seems to drop off.

Also, today, when I rebooted system, I was using minimal load with no AC units etc running, yet load was >6kW which seemed high.
Then battery drained from load over the next 4-5hrs.
It is as the false load showing beinf consumed sends excess to the grid until battery hits the Min sOC.

CT meter was set on.

As it is on, and not fault codes present in the system... you are going to have to find where they have placed it. Easier said than done, you may have to get the installers out to investigate the system fully.

I did find a Tesla 500amp thing. Not sure if it is a CT Clamp though.

Installer of the batteries is returning soon, as he forgot to install the Blackout Protection. So will ask him about it. But PV installer would have done it i assume.

Here is a pic of a CT clamp, I don't know what that Tesla thing is. I was wondering the other day, if your EV is the mystery 6kW load you see the other that drained your battery. It could explain why you barely see any load, then your system finally sees a load.

If you have a few power graphs from your Fox Cloud 2.0 App that could show where the power goes. See if you can get the one from the day you was seeing the 6kW drain with no AC on/small house load.

So it ISN'T a CT Clamp.
Looks like it is an electrical splitter.

Correct, it is a way of connecting power is all, no measurement capability.

Hopefully the graphs divulge any issues.

Last few show the battery finally being used after I reboot the system.

Sitting down with TV on, a couple of fans going.
3 x fridges running
Some PC.
Yet data displays zero now.

You may have to check back later for Will/Dave to cast an eye over your graphs for an expert opinion.

It does make you wonder if your CT clamp is working fine, as you do not have a warning bell icon in red. The above picture shows a meaty 77kWh of PV produced today, but all your values are zero. Your monthly graph does show PV/Load etc... or at least what it thinks it is measuring.

Maybe that CT clamp is placed around the wrong cable, maybe moved or too close to another CT clamp?

Rather than the graphs you’ve posted (which don’t show house load), can you post the graph you see when you swipe left off the home screen (scroll down), that one shows Load, Grid, Battery & Solar and it’s much easier to see how the load affects the inverter.

Well, received an email from Fox ESS support, and they updated software to 5sec. Much better to view now.

They also reported some potential issues in system, that is need to get installer back for, to fix.

". From our analysis, there may be potential issues such as:

A possible PV short circuit

Incorrect CT or meter installation position

CT direction installed incorrectly

Loose or poor electrical connections

These factors can all affect system data and performance.".

See how those issues sort system out, when I get them back out, that is.

Hats off to Fox support then, let's hope your installer can come back and sort the system for you.
