Re: Option to schedule charging disappeared
Yes, I get it. Thanks.

So I use Mode scheduler now instead? I can not see anywhere my current off peak charging though that was expecting to see (and disable). My battery currently charges at 3am for one hour and I want to stop this.

Try the V1 Website, hopefully it still exists in there.

Re: Option to schedule charging disappeared
I'm in the UK, on the Fox cloud 2 app we can click on the "work mode" icon to call up " mode scheduler"
On this mode we can enter
Self use
Feed in priority
Back up
Forced Charge
Forced Discharge

So you can charge for various times, discharge when you want by putting in what time settings you need.

Can you download the Europe issue of the App, could this help?
Re: Option to schedule charging disappeared
I had the same problem when he app changed last month.

I have the off peak times set up for battery charging and just toggled it on or off when i needed to. That function disappeared from he app so the workaround was to use the desktop version (which briefly worked), but now I can not see the time slot I had set up now in the desktop (but is still charging in off peak), I now want toggle off.

This is all I've used the app for, or probably ever will, its over complicated for me and now doesn't seem to do what I want (or maybe it does but its buried in all the other functions).
Re: Option to schedule charging disappeared
Hi, I've set up a different time slot in the work scheduler part of the app. I'wills see tomorrow if that overwrites the one that has currently been operating I set before the change. Out of interest I also tried to change the Max SOC to 885% (from some advice on the thread) and itches up with a "write failed" message. Any idea what's happening? It accepted the time slot.

Thanks for all the help and time.

If you have a Global Max SOC of 100%, and try to set a lower value for charging, then it might not stick.
It could also have been a communications glitch.

Also, the battery will be fine with 100% Max SOC, you would have to seriously abuse the battery to wear it out (very cold/very hot or leaving it at 10%/100% for long periods)
Re: Option to schedule charging disappeared
Global Max? Where is that please? Thanks

Your earlier post, the Quick Settings, website v2 site

Re: Option to schedule charging disappeared
You can still use the basic scheduler from the v2 website.
From the Dashboard, go to Quick Settings on the top right. Then go to Advanced Settings again on the top right.
The basic schedule settings are in ChargingTime option.

Not seeing what you are here?
Can you take a screenshot/video of what you are seeing?

I don't use the website, so may have missed something :D
Re: Option to schedule charging disappeared
Just realized it is because I have registered as an Agent which gives me installer level access.
Here is the screenshot from the Dashboard after click on Quick Settings. When I login as an End User I don't see the Advanced Settings button.

Aha!

Well thanks for confirming, I thought I needed new glasses 8-)
At least we know the options exist, for Agent level accounts, so cheers for posting back.
Re: Option to schedule charging disappeared
That was for the v2 website. The v1 website can set the basic scheduler as an end user.
I noticed that the App now has the Mode Scheduler enabled again.
Re: Option to schedule charging disappeared
Hi rolotwix12
I have exactly the same issue when I try to change the Max SOC below 100%. It gives Code 44098 write fail

Anyone knows what can be done?

Thanks.
Re: Option to schedule charging disappeared
Happened to me when Mode Schedule was set.
In app go to Work Mode and change away from Mode Scheduler - for instance to Self Use.
Then go into quick settings and see if you can change Max Soc now.
Re: Option to schedule charging disappeared
Nope. Did not work.
Re: Option to schedule charging disappeared
What about if you completely delete any schedules in Mode Scheduler, then back in Self Use try quick settings MaxSOC again?

I have tried this in the past, I was able to save MAX at 90
But the MIN defaults back to 10 after a day or two

It has just worked ok for me.
Could you check if you are on latest firmware

Other suggestion is to use the web interface

Re: Option to schedule charging disappeared
Daveg, my software version is 1.8.
I tried the website. I tried changing the 100% but it keeps saying fail write. Has anyone tried writing to the manufacturer?
Re: Option to schedule charging disappeared
Sorry, I'm no expert in these things, just a user who's encountered the same issue of adjusting MaxSoc that you've got and so am going through the things I've done to get round it over the past 10 months.

One was to disable/delete all schedules and go into self use mode, the other was to apply a firmware update that was offered on the app.

I should say though that I've applied two firmware updates one of which broke scheduling, so I'm not personally in a position to fully recommend that route even if available.

Hopefully someone more knowledgeable can help.

I'll just add that I've also been advised here that reducing MaxSoc below 100 has downsides in terms of the battery management system - but that's not an excuse for it not working.
